Our summer reading program is just around the corner and Upper Sandusky Community Library is preparing to throw some color on the library.
During the month of May, the library will be collecting granny squares (singles or connected in strips), crocheted or knitted strips (scarf-like pieces), pom poms, crocheted flowers or tassels, or anything else that has been crocheted or knitted.
These pieces will be used in the Yarn Bombing event beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31 to cover the library’s tree trunks, bushes, bike rack, and more with color! The community is invited to this Color Your World summer reading program to help make a color splash.
For more information about this or any other Upper Sandusky Community Library program, stop by the front desk or call the library at 419-294-1345.
