It's spooky season at USCL!

It's October, which means we're pulling out the pumpkin carving tools and s'more-making supplies!

Learn how to carve a pumpkin with Daily Chief-Union editor Brian Hemminger and then stick around to carve your own pumpkins. Children age 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Pumpkins and carving tools will be provided for you, but you’re welcome to bring your own tools. The carved pumpkins will be on display for the Pumpkin Glow the next day.

Registration is required and begins on Monday, Oct. 20. Sign up online, stop by the front desk, or call 419-294-1345 to register.

But wait! Don’t put those Halloween costumes away just yet. We'll be throwing a S’more Party & Pumpkin Glow at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30 in the library’s front yard. Tour the Pumpkin Glow, make s’mores, and drink hot chocolate or cider before the start of the Halloween parade. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
