Get your family outside to stretch their legs and read a book at the same time with StoryWalk®.

For March, Miss Jill has selected a book perfect to let everyone’s goofy side shine. Moo! by David LaRochelle and illustrated by Mike Wohnoutka takes the reader on a crazy adventure using only one word. “When Cow gets her hooves on the farmer's car, she takes it for a wild ride through the country. Moooo! But a bump in the road brings this joy ride to a troublesome end. Moo-moo. . . Has Cow learned her lesson about living life in the fast lane? Moo? Pairing two talented creators who managed to tell a complete story with just one word—MOO—this imaginative picture book will have readers laughing one moment and on the edge of their seats the next, as it captures the highs and lows of a mischievous cow's very exciting day.”

The StoryWalk® begins at the Upper Sandusky Community Library and continues in the windows of the following businesses: A Cut Above, Corner Inn, SURGE, Neumeister’s Candy Shoppe, Fay Family Dental Care, A.J.’s Heavenly Pizza, Johnson Orthodontics, The Barber Shop, Community First Bank, and First Citizens National Bank.

StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children – and adults – to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. A StoryWalk® is a book that has been taken apart and presented page by page on a trail, bike path, or in store windows to promote reading and exercise. StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont, and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library. Miss Jill and the Upper Sandusky Community Library initially brought the concept to the community in July and have presented a new StoryWalk® each month.
